Are there any more tickets?

No. At this stage there are no additional tickets to release and the waitlist is full.

Can I bring drinks?

No alcoholic drinks can be brought into the event, however drinks can be purchased on site before you enter at our pop-up container bar and Archie Rose Cocktail Caravan.

Can I bring food?

This is a promenade event so please do not bring eskies or picnics. Food trucks will be available on site before you enter, and Jardin Tan is open for dinner reservations.

Will there be facilities on site?

Food trucks, a pop-up bar, Archie Rose Cocktail Caravan and more is available on site. There are toilets throughout the route.

Can I exchange my ticket?

Unfortunately now that the event is sold out, you cannot exchange tickets to another session.

Can I resell my tickets?

We cannot guarantee Fire Gardens tickets that have been resold will be valid for entry. Scammers often use secondary ticket markets to sell fraudulent tickets. For more information, check the ACCC's website.

What happens if it’s raining?

The event will go ahead in the event of drizzle or light rain, so check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. In the event of severe weather posing a risk to the safety of guests, Melbourne International Arts Festival will contact ticket holders to advise them of possible postponement or cancellation, and the next steps.

Is there parking?

Limited street parking is available on Birdwood Avenue but we recommend you take public transport or ride-share, as parking will be at a premium on the event nights.

Where is the nearest tram stop?

The Shrine of Remembrance stop is the closest to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Be sure to plan your journey with Public Transport Victoria as road works may affect your journey.

What time is the performance?

You can purchase a ticket for entry at 7.30PM, 8.30PM or 9.30PM session. There is no specific performance as the event is designed to be experienced at your own pace. 

Can I take photos?

Yes—photos and video are OK. Be sure to tag #melbfest and #royalbotanicgardensvic.

How long is the experience?

Allow at least one hour.

Where can I buy a ticket?

All tickets are sold out. There are no door sales.

Is Fire Gardens wheelchair accessible?

The path is wheelchair accessible however there are some inclines which manual wheelchairs may require assistance with.

Can I bring my pet?

No pets are allowed.

Will there be bike parking?

Yes there will be bike parking on site, but we expect it to be at a premium.

Can I bring a chair?

The experience is designed to be walked through, so no chairs are allowed.

Can I bring my child?

Fire Gardens is suitable for all ages and kids 2 years of age and under are free. All other children require a ticket.

Will there be a cloak room?

No cloaking facilities will be supplied, so please travel light.
