This Melbourne Festival, MUMA will bring together for the first time an exquisite pair of artists (along with Lili Reynaud-Dewar) for side-by-side exhibitions that tease out their common concerns.
Exoplanets is a choreographed exhibition in which Alicia Frankovich’s videos, animations, sound and theatrical instruments constantly refigure themselves.
What might appear static springs to life, while the more conventionally animated finds itself interrupted or reframed. These metamorphoses may take ethereal form, as light or pure movement, but their impact is as real as the viewer’s own body.
